2025 Childbirth Class Schedule Coming Soon!
I’ll help you navigate life after baby.
Whether this is your first or fourth baby, or you have multiples, it's difficult to determine how much support you’ll need once your little one arrives.
And the transition to life with your new baby happens so fast. One minute you’re dreaming of what life will be like with your bundle of joy...And the next you’re suddenly adjusting to your new role as a parent, getting to know your baby, and balancing all your new responsibilities.
But often during pregnancy, we get so caught up in preparing for labor and birth that often we forget to prepare for what comes AFTER all of this, once your baby arrives!
I’ve been there! Often, the “basics” that seemed easy enough before your baby arrived become much more challenging:
I’ll help take the pressure off and be an extra set of supportive hands to help you:
Because when a baby is born, a parent is also born. As you develop and grow in your new skills, you should have access to the knowledge, physical and emotional support, and help you need along the way.

After 9 months of pregnancy and the stresses of labor and birth, the 4th trimester is an amazing, but tender time. A family has been born or your family has enlarged!
Research shows that parents who have support and feel secure and cared for during the first few weeks after pregnancy are more successful in adapting to any challenges that arise.
And birthing parents that receive continuous postpartum support experience:
But sometimes you may not receive the level of support you need from families and friends, or visits to your doctor may be too infrequent, leaving you feeling stressed and not knowing where to turn for answers.
As you shift into your new roles as parents, having a postpartum doula will provide the extra care and support that you need as you grow into these roles.
A postpartum doula provides a level of caring and understanding for the needs of:
The birth of a baby brings a permanent and profound life change for you and your family members. This can be a vulnerable transition. A postpartum doula is an expert in providing emotional support, active listening and encouragement for your whole family.
A postpartum doula is trained to understand what new babies – and new parents – truly need. Get help with soothing techniques, chest/breastfeeding or bottle feeding support, and normal newborn behavior.
It’s all hands on deck with a new baby, and there will be times you need someone to roll up their sleeves and HELP. A postpartum doula can help the days go by more smoothly by assisting with the baby’s laundry, doing the dishes or preparing simple, nourishing meals.
A new baby means transition for everyone, including parents, grandparents and little brothers and sisters. A postpartum doula understands what everyone needs and can help the entire family adjust and settle in.
